About Lincoln Logs

Vintage Lincoln Logs set

Invented in 1916 by John Lloyd Wright, son of the famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, Lincoln Logs have become a staple in American playrooms. Inspired by the interlocking beams of the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, these wooden logs allow children to build structures reminiscent of frontier life. Recognized for their educational value, Lincoln Logs were inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame in 1999.
